We need your support to create our new community park

The property for this section of the Hominy Creek Greenway was purchased through a public/private coalition. The City of Ashville and Buncombe County each paid 40% of the purchase. The other 20% was raised by the Blue Ridge Bicycle Club, Liberty Bikes and many individuals.

We are currently accepting donations at two levels:

• Donations up to $49 should be made to Friends of Hominy Creek Greenway. These funds will be used for purchase of small tools, gas for mowing, publicity and other small expenses.
• Tax deductable donations over $50 and over are should be made to Riverlink marked for FOHCG. These funds will be used for future development, invasive removal and restoring native plants.
